Bound is a reverse campaign created to promote books over E-readers, as E-readers fail to convey the original magic of the physical book. To help promote the campaign are posters enticing viewers to find out it is all about, with one being a cryptic message about an event being held. The event being a flash mob to highlight the tranquility of reading a good old fashioned book in a hectic world. For more information on the event and campaign there is a website describing everything in more detail but also includes a viral video. As an addition, there is a small magazine dedicated to books that is available as an insert or freebie to a lifestyle magazine, as reading a book is a lifestyle choice.

In my video, I wanted to explore the themes of different genres of story. With each page turn representing each genre ending in the brands strap line to tie in with the rest of the campaign. I felt using stop-motion would be the best way to replicate the kind of experience of reading, helping to make the pages come alive.
