This was a competition brief from D&AD where we were tasked with illustrating the portraits of the main character from a set list of films. I chose to illustrate the character from the Tree of Life after watching it as I felt it had some interesting themes that could work well visually. There was also an added challenge due to the film having 2 actors play the same character meaning I could experiment on my representation which I enjoyed.
